ABOUT TOWN – Gurh

According to the 2011 Census of India, Gurh is a Municipal Council located in Rewa District of Madhya Pradesh. The town comprises approximately 2,833 households and has a total population of 14,608, including 7,650 males and 6,958 females.

The child population (aged 0–6) is 1,956, which accounts for around 13.39% of the total population. The average sex ratio is 910 females per 1,000 males, which is lower than the state average of 931. The child sex ratio is 828 girls per 1,000 boys, also lower than the Madhya Pradesh average of 918.
